At Traxass Model Gear Shop, we understand that even precision modelers sometimes need to adjust their toolkit. Our returns policy is designed with the same attention to detail we apply to selecting our premium modeling products.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order, provided the items are in original, resalable condition with all packaging intact. Your satisfaction is as important to us as the perfect paint mix is to your modeling projects.

Non-Returnable Items

To protect all our customers, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened paints (AK Interactive, Badger, Mission Models, Revell, and Abteilung 502 products)
  • Used tools (knives, blades, drills, or sanding files showing wear)
  • Airbrushes that have been assembled or tested
  • Custom or special order items

Return Process

Follow these steps to return or exchange your modeling supplies:

Step 1: Request Authorization

  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer refund or exchange

Step 2: Package Your Items

Once approved, repackage items securely in original packaging with all included materials (manuals, accessories, etc.). For fragile items like airbrush accessories or paint bottles, use adequate padding.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds process within 3-5 business days after inspection
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Notification: You’ll receive email confirmation when processed

For exchanges, we’ll ship your replacement item once the return is received, using your preferred shipping method.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive damaged goods or incorrect items, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed and expedite your replacement.

International Returns

For customers outside the U.S.:

  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees
  • We cannot refund original shipping costs for international orders
  • Refunds will be issued in USD and may take additional time for currency conversion
